ATTRACTIONS

Gardens Lake

The tranquil lake is a great spot to sit, relax and enjoy the prolific bird life and other wildlife.

Frog pond

Just above the picnic shelters, the frog pond is a popular drawcard for children who love to spot a frog or two.

Self-guided walkways

Follow one of the many walkways and learn about the different plants from the information plaques. Each walkway contains artistic mosaic tiles symbolising aspects of the natural environment.

Stump in time

The stump of an old giant Blackbutt has been turned into a 'time capsule' to show how long large trees take to grow. The surface was smoothed, oiled and protected, and a number of growth rings labelled with historical events. Seats, information signs and a walking path allow visitors to enjoy the tree's second life.

Plant paradise

The Park contains more than 400 different species of native plants. Many of the plants are labelled so visitors can learn about the various species as they wander.

Nature themed adventure playground

The nature inspired adventure playground brings a new world of play and discovery where you can excavate a dinosaur skeleton, climb a giant Crows Ash seed pod, slide, splash and so much more.
